Pastor Joe and his wife Amy came to Grace in December of 2008. In August of 2009 they were blessed with the birth of their first son, Joshua. Joseph found in Genesis.
- Worst injury you've ever had?
A torn knee while playing High School football.
- What was your first car?
A (faded) burgundy 1985 Chrysler Laser. They don't make them like that anymore (thankfully).
- Where did you go to college?
I'm a Panther (University of Northern Iowa) but a Hawkeye at heart! I also received a Masters at Faith Baptist Theological Seminary.
- When were you married?
I married, Amy, the best girl in the world on August 25th, 2007.
- What are your favorite foods?
Amy's Louisiana Pasta and anything pizza related.
- What is your favorite Christmas movie?
Hands down: It's a Wonderful Life!
- Do you own slippers?
Yes, blue ones.
- Can you whistle?
Absolutely, but strangely I can only whistle as I inhale and have troubles when I exhale.
- What songs do you sing in the shower?
That's private!
- What is in your pockets?
They are usually empty.
- Do you still have your tonsils?
Yep
- Do you untie your shoes when you take them off?
Does unlatching Velcro count as untying? Kidding, it depends upon the shoe.
- If you were a crayon, what color would you be?
Definitely blue!
- What is your favorite sport to watch?
College football (GO HAWKS!)
- The furthest you have been from home?
Egypt, Jordan, and Israel. The pyramids are amazing, but not as much as walking where Christ walked.
- What is your favorite Board Game?
Settlers of Catan.

Anything which clearly exclaims the matchless grace of God through His Son Christ Jesus.
